Can’t challenge players that are online

The green box doesn’t mean that they are on chess.com. However, I run into that problem too. Have no idea why it happens. Sometimes it even happens for daily games!

If you’re challenging someone to a live game who plays on a computer, they have to be in the live chess interface waiting for your challenge.
I have an issue with using the ios app to challenge online players to a game. It tells me that they are not online even though they have the green box on their pic. In some cases I know they are online because I am actually with them.
The message I get is that they are offline and that a challenge has been sent and they have 5 minutes to accept. They never receive this challenge even though they are online.
I noticed this issue happens particularly when I challenge a player on pc while I’m on my phone.
