As great as both Magnus and Vichy are, I think this is a bad image for chess. Some compare the game akin to watching paint dry and this gives them fuel for their fire if Magnus appears to lose interest in the watching.

Though I admit that some might consider it scandalous if they did it during the game.
What a fool. Magnus is a great chess player but pretty crappy at presenting chess in a positive light.
Can't think of any world champion who slept during their WCC games. He's the first.
It may be an indicator of the stress he is under. Or the time he is spending to prepare for these games. Vishy's countenance looks far more relaxed.
But, that's just my observation.

Magnus is a badass. I think its funny how upset people get about the little things he does or doesn't do.
Carlson and Anand have different strengths/approaches to playing chess. Imagine someone having the best of both of those worlds.
Carlsen is a genius.
He is giving a clear message to the worlds youth to stay away from a game that will bore them to pieces unless FIDE is abolished.
A cat who likes narcoleptics. Figures.

People probably still would. It isn't a gay/ straight thing. If two co-stars in a movie, one male and one female, who aren't married or dating slept together during the production of the movie people would be pretty shocked, and it would be all over the tabloid magazines.
I think Anand could well try chatting Carlsen up, but I reckon Magnus would turn him down.
Anand plays boring chess, so I don't think I could have resisted the urge either.
