I don't think I would "expect" him to play something like that per se. My understanding of Anand is that he prefers to play quiet openings. But I do agree that the opening you mentioned would be a dangerous addition to his repertorie. I think Anand knows from his experience last time around that to have a shot at beating Carlsen he needs to step out of his comfort zone. So... I guess it would be interesting to see to what extent Anand manages to do that, and whether he has the guts to play an opening as wild as the Venusian.
Carlsen vs. Anand PART 2

Carslen loses but then wins 2015 :)
So you think Anand will win this, but then Carlsen will come back in 2015 and regain the title again? That's an interesting thought.
That would be great. But for that to happen Anand would have to, like, take steroids or something.
Or Carlsen would play the games in a high/drunken state
Or Anand might just beat him fair and square
There is a debate (There is even a forum on it) on whether being drunk helps your chess

Will Chess.com have live coverage on all the games with commentary?
I've recieved an email from another site (won't say which so I won't get in trouble) saying that they will have full live coverage. Since I'm interested in watching, I really would prefer to subscribe here, does any one know if chess.com will have full coverage?
Thanks

Being drunk does not help your chess.

Anand doesn't win 1 game.
and they are all draws so carlsen wins on tiebreak jk I'm goin for anand cuz carlsen's a noob

Anand doesn't win 1 game.
Technically, Anand winning two games fufills your statement.
"How many months have 29 days?" "All of them!"
Usually all of them except 1. Occasionally all of them.
Whoops, that was supposed to say 28
It is 28 but macer75 changed in the quote.

No, I wrote 29 the first time and edited it after...

Dude I beat Carlsen once in some noob tournament he was trying to win just to get a little money. He had 5 forced, mates, missed them all, and blundered mate himself. jk

I agree with you ingridev. Anand must show a better performance this time. The only problem is the age, because Carlsen is young and Anand it`s quite old. Carlsen wind for sure in the last games.

Carlsen wins the match and maybe this time Anand wins a couple of games.
That's what I'm predicting, maybe in tiebreaks.

They've both been padding their schedules and then prepping for this, should be a good championships, I'd expect something similar to last one.
Maybe, but Anand will win some games this time.

Thanks lol

Yes, I agree with your analysis sadie. Anand definitely needs to work on playing reasonable openings. In his last match against Carlsen he dug a hole for himself in the opening way too often.
