Carlsen's long time feud with Niemann to be a problem for either player in Paris?

It's no abstract topic to avid chess fans, the long standing feud that has been existing between GM Magnus Carlsen and GM Hans Moke Niemann since Niemann was accused by Carlsen of cheating in a tournament which caused him to be banned from chess.com and playing tournaments . Niemann is back now playing the SCC and he is set to meet Magnus in the semifinals of the event in paris. After their wins in the quarterfinals, both players, in their interview, expressed their views on the issue. As much as Niemann was happy with the fixture so as to get his vengeance on the chess board, Carlsen on the other hand mentioned that it's no surprise to anyone that he would have wished for a different opponent, but it is what it is. Let's not forget that in the just concluded FIDE world rapid and blitz team championships, when WR chess team went up against GMHans.com team, Magnus opted out of the game and GM Ian had to play Niemann instead of Carlsen. The question arising on the mind of every chess fan now is, would this feud create some sort of psychological issue for either player and affect their performances on the board? I guess only Paris can tell Don't miss it for anything in the world #DEVOE

The thing about the Paris match is that they won't be playing on a physical board otb. It's still on a computer but in the same room. I originally thought it was otb chess but no, just at the same place but still using computers. I'm guessing they don't have to even shake hands.

The matches are Magnus vs Hans and Hikaru vs Alireza. I'm amazed Hans was good enough to reach the final 4.
