And Mr. Gripp -- this is my first time playing this Qxd4 line against a super strong opponent. And Navara even knew 8. a6! (I mean he *is* David Navara). I got outplayed most of the game, but still a good practice run with this try against the Advance Caro with c5.

I know it's Navara, but I am still a bit surprised he played that accurately in such a sideline (7. Nc3!? Nb4! 8. Qd2 a6!). I hope this line has been useful!

I'm sure we're not the only ones who have gone through this line, but nonetheless still surprised that Navara knew this line well enough. Will keep practicing, and thanks : )
