So far I know of only one player on chess.com who was famous in real life and that was Lionel Richie but I can't remember his user name but thinking about that I wondered who else on chess.com is famous in real life ? anyone know and I dont just mean movie stars and singers but someone like a world renowned physicist of scientist who plays on chess.com from time to time or use to!

By the way richie was strong he was rated 2000ish in turned-based rating so dont think having a busy life means weaker chess.

I used to be famous but a month in hospital cured me of that delusion.

We actually have lots of celebrities on the chess world, like Masters and stuff.
