Centaur Chess - Best Games Ever Played?

Avatar of AlxMaster

Recently on one of these threads, someone said that a Centaur (human+computer) playing on correspondence time controls (24h+ per move) are stronger than computers alone (which means their rating must be something above 3400 at least).

In that case, I would be highly interested in seeing those games, so the question is: Where are those games/tournaments available in the internet?

Thx

if i recall correctly, now iccf only allows members to download their games or something, not sure. another centaur server is ficgs. [edit after seeing post below: ok nvm, that's cool]

i guess you can try asking an expert: http://www.chess.com/blog/FirebrandX/winning-the-19th-usa-cc-championship

The International Correspondence Chess Federation has a bunch: http://www.iccf.com/

For example, here is the most recently finished world championship: http://www.iccf.com/EventCrossTable.aspx?id=19811

Thanks for the answers.

Where can I play centaur chess for free? (in other words, play correspondence chess with engines allowed?) I'm very interested to become a chess cyborg freak.

try ficgs i guess, engine usage is even encouraged! the interface looks kinda weird though.

FICGS is ok... for correspondence the time controls are strange, and there's not alot of players there, but overall I think it is a good place to play.
