Certain British GMs are opinionated

A certain British grandmaster who has history of blaming anyone he loses against as a cheat has stated Neimann is a cheat, i think he couldnt possibly know the truth unless he has knowledge we are all unware of, and if he has such knowledge he should come out with it not make snide remarks from the sidelines.

I think if technology had been around the same in the 1960s and 70s both Tal and Fischer would have been labelled cheats.

no he has been reasonable its a gm known mainly in britain

alright i will give a clue, his initials are KA, i dont mean to embarrass him but he shouldnt trash a young kid on the basis of a whim.

in a court of law someone is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, i cant see even a smidgen of concrete proof here so just leave the poor kid alone.

based on what evidence magnus played like a 2500 and got beat by a 2600 big deal

what all this business reminds me of is Mr Smith Goes to Washington film, in that it was the youngster that was cruelly insinuated against by a corrupt established figure, and it proved to be the established figure that was the one that had something to hide.

If you're talking about Keith Arkell, I'm not aware that he has made any accusations.

Has he said anything beyond referring to Niemann's past on-line transgressions?

EDIT: I have now had time to read more and can see what you mean.

Niemann admitted that he was a cheat on two separate periods.

You need to be more careful about your wording.

No, Nigel suggested that there was nothing suspicious about Niemann being familiar with the g3 Nimzo-Indian line, pointing out a game where Magnus had played this before.

i have admitted being a cheat as well, in the british correspondence championships 1996 when using a computer for assistance took some human input on strategy, i cheated(I havent since)

And when i was online playing rated casual games on lichess and a young friend asked if he could play my engine, he knew i was using an engine but wanted to see how he would do against it-i got banned from lichess for that.

StumpyBlitzer

People have opinions especially as hans had admitted online abuse, but I think he's playing well and people should move on now, the drama is spoiling big events.

lol I hope his name gets cleared and he will sue you for defammation. You are literally the dumbest knucklehead of a Maggy Fanboy I've encountered so far.

Getting banned for that was a bit harsh!

@15
It is Carlsen who spoils big events by withdrawing round 3 and by throwing a game after move 1.
He should have filed a complaint about alledged cheating and provided evidence to support it.
There have been incidents in the past: Fischer's chair X-rayed, color of yoghurt, toilet visits...

Just enjoy the chess, illegit things happen in any sports. So stop the 'shame on who?' nonsense (you commoners happy.png). A professional player should know not to do these things.
