So , A proposal by fide is released saying that onwards Jan 2024 ratings below 2000 are getting increase by formula of 2000 - (your rating) × 0.40 that number is add up to your rating . Now my question arise does chess.com also apply this floor change ??? because Fide is an french or worldwide body but chess.com is an american company. What you think comment down below ??? story by - Aditya Roy

No, I don't think Chess.com ratings will be revised.

Wait really? I heard this rumor a while back that all ratings below 1400 will get raised to 1400. Now 0.40% ? Let's see what happens. I don't think chess.com needs to change anything because it's online chess!

My fide rating has gone up by 200 points but I haven't played since January 2020

As I keep pointing out (but some people disagree) the chess.com rating isnt ELO.

Thats why GM Hikaru Nakamura could reach 3400 (I think it was Blitz) ?

While the highest Fide ELO to date was 2882 by Magnus Carlsen, though Wikipedia claims that if ELO would have been introduced earlier, Robert "Bobby" Fischer would have been rated 2900 after winning the world champion title. A claim I cannot find likely because Spassky was around 2700 and while Fischer clearly won, he didnt obliterate him THAT much.
