Who knows? They're always tweaking something around here although last month there was a post from someone asking if they had changed it to make it easier. With 18K attempts though, you might want to reevaluate your approach. You know, maybe move over to the Chess Mentor and try some of their tactical motif courses (GM Wolff has at least a dozen). Or take advantage of the V3 TT's unrated "review problems you've missed" feature. Or not...
