I think it's clearly better this way, even for chat -- now you can see immediately that your opponent said something.

in the end is it not good to comunicate lucidly with like minded people, if not why not just purchase a computer game

Are there any other players out there as dissapointed as me with some of the changes to chess.com lately eg, chat has now swopped for moves as default or has been confused by it.
