Changing Outcome Rules

Online chess rules needs to change. Even 2000+ rated players no longer resign when being dominated but I'll accept that part now. I hate the fact your opponent can play stalling moves to run your clock down and take the victory. Check mate them you say? Get quicker you say? Some people reach a peak on how quick they calculate and opponents can just take the piss with that. Then it basicly turns the chess game into a time game and what's the point in that? If you are ahead in material points and run out of time it should be a draw by default. This would make less incentive for the cheap people to continue clock abusing and make it fairer for those who play for a check mate win.

You have several options. There is an option where you can make one move every day, or even one move every several days. That should be long enough where you wont feel pressured to play fast and lose on time. The other has to do with the peak you mentioned on how quickly people can calculate. If you want to not run into time trouble, raise your peak on how long it takes to calculate. Yes, chess is a time game. But you could do away with that limitation too if you like. Just play games with no time limit and see how that works out.

don't complain about opponents making complicated positions to run down the clock. Tal did it in a game a month before he died.

And run into people using engines in longer time games lol

There is no hope at all

Why are you only playing blitz, and then complaining about it?  The clock is part of the game.  Play longer time ocntrols if you cant win a won game.  I swear...online chess is runing the game.

clearly a line has been drawn between playing chess a certain way and killing myself. Tal smoked and drank himself to death but i don't drink or smoke. also i don't play chess that way anyway.

In blitz the clock isn't part of the game it is the game

Nothing matters but the clock

Ok so your selective about doing what others do but because someone else does something specific it's ok for you to do it too?

Where do you draw the line?

of course. every time i lose a game my opponents cheating. and according to your archives you haven't played a single rapid or daily game. you play too much Call of duty. cheaters may be everywhere in Call of duty but not chess. obviously cheaters exist but aren't frequent enough to be a problem.
