are you talking from personal experience? know a lot of hackers do some hacking yourself? because you sound clueless
None of the above, so maybe I am, what exactly was wrong?

Still, hacking would affect more than one user on the site. Explain why none of us have experienced problems with hacking.
i'm surpized at all the naivity of the users here more secure and sophistocated servers are hacked everyday, why does everyone dismiss that a cheat code or hack in use is completely impossible so quickly
Two main reasons. There are many much much much easier ways to illegitimately win a chess game. Also it is a lot of effort to go through for something that has no real return.
Like, who goes through the trouble of designing a program to cheat in online chess games, hacking into a chess website and then implementing it just to raise their rating??
If someone was going to bother hacking into chess com, they would go after peoples credit card details...not their rating points.

You couldn't log on to chess.com and you suspected it had been hacked? You must have a clue. Although given all the meteors and astroids, the sky might be falling.

A lot of the learners here still don't unstand the en passant rules even though they have been here for awhile.
So a number of reason why peoples say they thought others are cheating it turn out because...
they didn't know the rules of en passant, under promotion, castling, stalemate. etc.
maybe because apparently everyone here is in complete denial that hacking anything is possible didnt you listen to obamas state of the union speech, hackers are out to get all of us theres a cyber war
american propoganda at its best

and they never heard of SuperKnights.
I was thinking the piece he was trying to move might have been pinned. Or he tried to capture by moving a pawn forward a square or something. IT's obviously not hackers.
@budboomer, you are giving the troll way too much credit.
no i think the rule is the first person so says "troll" is the troll
lol why did i never come up with that.

No, I think that the troll is, in this case, actually the troll, and not the person who said troll, who, in doing so, called the troll a troll.
Then after they froze that piece they said in the chatbox it's just a "pin" when I called them out on it. I think that is hacker talk speak for one of their cheat codes.
Fine, I thought, I'll let the little hacker tactic 101 go since it is only a "pin" as he says and see if he cheats any more before raising cain.
Then next, he paralyzed my bishop that was protecting my queen with one of his pieces and snatched up my queen with his rook!
Okay, mister. This has gone far enough. You are cheating! Well, I was a little upset so it came out more like, "OKK miaster Your're far reough chaet!"
He said that was just a "skewer", "calm down buddy. it will be okay."
But it was most certainly NOT okay. And I will NEVER be okay with cheating.
The nerve.
Now I know for sure. I thought it was just some newbs who didn't know the moves at first, but I see it happened to me too. smh
I believe that about 50% of my games are being hacked since I am a very good player and cannot undersand why I would be losing so many of my games since I am a genius and the only way to beat me is by cheating.
