Last few games I played against clear cheaters, they were mostly new users, playing only blitz with constant delay per moves. One of them was more clever though, he played a few opening moves then stopped playing for 1 min (opening the engine of book) the continued playing perfectly. I told him he cheated and it’s clear from the delay right after opening, he simply said he forgot the line (then of course checked it to continue that sharp line with best moves), and he was laughing. This is ridiculous, I’ve reported all of them, they should get permanently banned but chess.com does literally nothing.


Here is an advice to all of you cheaters out there: if you want to learn lines, do not use live chess, go play with engine, we are not here to get humiliated by engine, we can lose to our local player engine if we want. Stop cheating and justifying it by saying you want to check the lines.

Occasionally you will encounter those who decide to use their time playing with engines or other means of cheating for whatever reasons they decide makes it worthwhile to them. But even so, you can focus on using everything as an opportunity to improve your own game. Cheaters can’t impede you there, no matter what they do.
