I just finished a game and was about to reflexively click the game review, and instead the green button was really just a link to download Comet. I didn't know what it was, but I didn't click it. Lo and behold, it's some AI. I think it's really disingenuous of both the site and Comet to try to trick people into downloading it. (Is it possible that it's not that good if it has to deceive people to download it?). I pay good money to subscribe to chess.com and am really unimpressed with such backhanded tactics. This shouldn't become a thing chess.com does, or it will lose at least one subscriber. Won't be the first time I stopped using an online provider once they started to sneak a partnering company's software on my computer with their downloaded update.
Question for the mods, is there a way in the settings to prevent being pestered in the future by this? I'm not salty enough to leave yet, but it won't take much of this to make me cancel my subscription, frankly.
