You're dang right im UPSET!! Now Im gonna have to set my program at 4 hours per move. That's gonna push my processor into overload seeing the fan doesn't work. I'm not starting with the excuses. I WILL PLAY. But I will also SUE each and every member on this site if my computer melts.

This guy is almost surrealistic...

Owning chess engines and not using them to cheat is not hypocritical or wrong. I use Rybka to analyze my games after I play.

You are like an armed robber who is calling me a hypocrite for owning a gun for home protection. Sure, the same tool, but entirely different motives. No hypocrisy there.

If you don't want the match, just say so. I thought I was doing you a favor. I saw a bored little man crying for attention and I thought I would give him a moment of glory. I'm kinda like the Make-a-Wish foundation, but focused just on lonely old men. :)

Hey cheater, it's not cheating if you too are using a program.  It's called fighting fire with fire so get over yourself you pompous megalomaniac.  You bitch and moan about how we don't like you, well you catch more flies with honey.  Maybe if you didn't insult the chess community, we wouldn't feel like we have to defend ourselves and give you a taste of your own medicine.  I personally would like to play against you without your little program you hide behind.  Let me ask you something, what is the f-ing point of using a program?  So you can claim false glory?  It's not all about winning when you play chess, it's about the creativity and when you use a program, your not being creative at all.  Maybe you should go stir the pot at some other website.

The game is on! But can I ask a LEGITIMATE question? I'll ask anyway. I know it will be a progs vs progs match, but will I be playing just YOU ERIK? cheater_1 vs Erik's Rybka, or will this indeed be a true vote chess match with the move getting the most votes being made? I will indeed play either way. I NEVER RECANT!! I will be there. Is this a legit vote game or will you be "overuling" moves that Rybka doesnt like, even if theyre the most popular. Please answer quickly, I must go meditate.

i won't be mucking with the moves. there is a good change though that through vote chess we will have enough stupid moves that we cannot beat your version of chessmaster :). if you then feel somehow proud of that, then you should be a spokesperson for ubisoft. and in return they should praise you for how amazingly adept you are at inputing moves into their program and then outputing the responses into a chess match and claiming the glory for yourself :)

I can't believe chess.com staff is facilitating/participating in this circus.

Just ban this clown already.

Rael
He's never done anything bannable, kponds, because he doesn't play games here. This has been building for a while, he's a well known character. I'd actually be sorry to see him banned in a way. But yeah, until he commits a bannable offense, he's here to stay.

I agree Rael, he was starting to get a little old with the whole: "i AM a troll.  that's right, FLAMERS, a paid INTERLOPER, a CHEATER who takes money FOR posting fake comments..." but this new thing of his is hilarious.  I especially love that his super awesome cheating setup has a fan that doesn't work!

I guess because chess.com is a real company they can't ban people on a whim.  I kind of like the guys posts too (although the random word capitalization makes them unbearable to read), I think that trolling is fun when done in good spirit.  But you have to think that he leaves a bad impression on many people here, who may think that cheating is rampant.

Am I the only one who thinks that the players of chess.com vs a computer would be a pretty interesting matchup?  I mean cheater_1 has basically admitted he's a patzer, so let's just ignore him.  Is his computer any good?  I'd like to see the matchup, personally.

how about Cheater_1 vs. Chess.com Computer on the hardest setting possible, even it that has to be made. It had me in about 5 moves and the game was over in 15 moves, of course I am not up for that type of challange very much.

Why don't you and your computer play each other and leave the real chess to those of us that really play the game.

A fine sentiment, but I'm sure cheater_1 plays with himself quite often already.

I just tried it - I won!!! Cool I guess Chessmaster'd win too...

RedSoxpawn
thanks for the update, but I was suggesting one that none of us has played yet maybe something stronger than that is?
FerrusKG
May be... Where is Erik?! he'd know for sure capabilities of computer here...
RedSoxpawn

Patzer may be able to help with that also, but I wonder where they all are, they never seem to be on when you want one
