Cheating

I/m currently playing a tourament and am 1 move from check mate.My opponents times does not run down infact it keeps increasing. He had 33 mins left earlier but now has 8 hours and its notthe first time its happened during our game. His time outs show 0% but  he seems to be on vacation a lot of the time. His name is Lawdoginator, is he cheating or doing somthing else that i dont know how to do.

As a premium member, when his time to move gets low on time, his auto timeout protection activates. Which basically means the system turns his vacation time on to prevent him losing on time.

When you see his time low, the suddenly have more time, its because 1 day was removed from his vacation time and added to his game clock time.

Even if hes on vacation 5 minutes, he still loses 1 day of vacation time.

I've seen his games with you, he is online now and has removed his vacation time.

It sound like cheating to me.if we have a time limit and he and only he can alter that time limit to suit him then that's cheating.

Martin, the same applies to you if you used vacation time, you don't have auto activated when your time is low though.

It might not be cheating but its extremely annoying when this happens. I would think it constitutes an abuse of vacation time.
