Just too much cheating. Chess.com says my perception is greater that it is. Even if that is true with millions of members the cheaters must be astronomical to say the least.

The vast majority of games and players are clean, with the site estimating about 0.2% of members are cheating and at the lower levels it's very likely much lower than that.

The site closed more than 100,000 accounts in February for fair play violations and has a full team of staff working on reports along with some automated systems for detection.
