So, I think it is pretty true chess is 90% tactics, because I did 3 days, 3hrs worth of tactics basically, and my calculation improved so much. But do you guys have any other websites that have puzzles that improve my opening, middle, and endgame? I am considering to do this following schedule. Sometimes I might be lazy or busy so I might skip and a day and do it the next day so.. It should be like..

Mon - 2Hrs OpeningGame

Tues - 2Hrs MiddleGame

Wed - 2Hrs EndGame

Thurs - 1Hrs/2Hrs Tactics

Fri- Review, Break or Random.

I am still 12, could I be GM by then? I am not rich so I will not have a fide rating until like... maybe when I am 25? Because to enter fide tournaments I have to travel and all that, I think.. ): Atleast I don't have to retire when I am like 40.

Oh and is the 10% made of the opening middle and endgame? Or what is it

10% luck, 20% skill, 15% concentrated... oh nevermind.

No you wont be a GM as long as you think chess is 90% tactics.  Place 90% of your study time into nothing but tactics, and when you get stuck at USCF 2000 scratch your head and ask why?

Ok, but it isn't going to hope if you don't tell me what is it then. Please do so.. Also do you have any websites for opening, middle and endgame?

It's 90% pattern recognition + calculation maybe. The other 10% might be logic or something.

Puzzles work best for tactics, and not very well with anything else. If you want to study strategy, endgames, and openings you should get books annd play though many GM games. There are no middlegame puzzle websites.

Thanks for your replays everyone, what kind of sources should I use to study these three stages of the game besides books? The only thing I can think of is just solving problems. I don't have any books right now. And what should I try to study on for each of the three stages? Since chess isn't 90% tactics, but tactics help pattern recognition so...

First off, you'll find very quickly that chess is NOT 90% tactics. I ran into that reality headfirst when I hit about 1250-1300 rating in 5-min blitz here on chess.com, where my positional play was so poor that I rarely got chances to even use tactics against opponents of similar strength.

Furthermore, the better your positional ability, the more tactics pop up in your advantage, and the harder it becomes to outright blunder.

To learn a lot of these, I'd start with watching youtube videos of masters and GMs explaning move-by-move their games. I've been a huge fan of GM Akobian's St. Louis chess videos - you can start there, but there are many good ones. You'll quickly see all the considerations that go into nontactical moves and how important they are to have a playable, and even winning game.

I find now that I have to push both my positional sense and tactical abilities at similar pace - it doesn't help if one greatly outpaces the other, as I don't get to use the extra ability since I'm held back by the lagging one. But after coming to that understanding, I broke through a big stall at 1200-1250, and am continuining to improve (it's slow, but steady.)

Chesstempo.com has endgame puzzles I think.
Chess.com has chess mentor.

Maybe ask your parents to buy you a subscription to one of these websites.

Chessgames.com has lots of grandmaster games you can view for free.

I'd avoid buying stuff for now. Youtube videos are almost certainly the best resource for a player of this level.

After you get strong enough to require specific lines of play for specific openings, etc., books start becoming more useful, but I'd say at a minimum, 1400 level in 5-min blitz (1600+ in standard) rating here.
