No I’m happy to leave this go and drop it. No point in prolonging the misery of something someone did when they are drunk when they probably regret it and realise that it was wrong. I’m not into kicking anyone when they are clearly struggling and this community should be kinder and help out fellow members when they see that they are struggling.

Shrug*  ok.

The moral of this story: don't drink and forum...

Or else... what?

Or else you risk getting health problems due to alcohol abuse

Did you know that cirrhosis of the liver is a leading cause of death in male Americans?

That has nothing to do with the forum though. You said the moral is "don't drink and forum."

Does it need to have anything to do with the forum?

No, but you said it does... you said the moral was don't drink and forum.

To be honest I didn't even read the whole thing, I assume you got all toxic while drinking. Which is not a bad thing if the person you're roasting needed to be put in his place...

They definitely did not. Llama was talking to someone, and since the topic was on if having a disorder such as autism could make you good at chess and Llama was talking and stuff, anyway the person assumed Llama was autistic and this was personal experience, but it wasn't. They apologized at least 3 times, but Llama got all drunk and toxic, insulting them for absolutely no reason.

See, this is part of why people are annoying to me. These posts...

Here, let me help you out.

Guinea Pig:  Don't drink and forum

Llama: Or else... what?

Guinea Pig: Or else you'll (apparently) risk putting yourself in a situation where you'll have to apologize to children for your bad behavior.

Llama:  I don't particularly like the children here, maybe it's worth it to me to be abusive.

Guinea Pig:  Even more reason then. An apology is an act of contrition. Being lectured by
children and apologizing to them... it sounds to me like it's not about liking or disliking them, it's about you losing self control. I can't imagine that making a habit of that is "worth it" to you.

Llama:  That's a good point... and it's not like I'm unaware of what people might think when they see me behave like that.

Guinea pig:  So you agree the moral is don't drink and forum?

Llama:  Haha, yeah I guess.

Oh wow, he kinda did apologize didn't he?

At the time I read it as 100% sarcasm, lol.

When you say things like “I don't particularly like the children here, maybe it's worth it to me to be abusive” - where you seem to say that you enjoy being abusive to children - that’s problematic language and is frankly disturbing to have on a forum like this.

Frankly, from the beginning, you've given off a troll vibe... with your last few posts you're getting more and more obvious about it.

llama47

I mean... since I didn't react, you might have thought you should push it a little more... so I'm just letting you know that I didn't react because it was obvious to begin with tongue.png

I can’t quote as I’m on the phone app but you literally just said what I had in quote marks. Just scroll up a couple of posts. I don’t see how I’m the troll in this situation where several people have commented on how drunk, toxic and abusive you were, and now you’re doubling down on it saying you enjoy it.

I don't come on the chess site to have mature and thoughtful discussions, this is a place for me to troll, spam, and let my childlike side come out. This is literally my Twitter.

Now do you understand?

I don't mean it like that. I don't mean that it's your personal failing. I simply mean that's what annoys me about people.

Also that's a pretty lame excuse... you say don't drink and forum, I ask why not, and for a while you're going along with it... it was only when you acted like you'd be willing to take back your words because "I didn't read the forum" and "maybe they needed to be put in their place" that I got upset enough to give you something better to say.
