Hey. I've been on here for a while, and I was wondering: are there any other people on here who both play chess and act? It's a very strange combination, and people probably think I'm lying about it when I bring it up. I was just putting this out here to see if there are any people who act and play chess on here. That's all.

I am not an actor but what  is strange about acting and playing chess I don't see a strange combination. people have different hobbies.

I sometimes play otb with a guy who acts in local theatre productions, but he doesn't play online last I checked.

I act like Bobby Fischer when I play chess.

Needless to say, I'm not a very good actor.Frown

Plenty dudes on Chess.com., act the goat.

Act the goat? I'm sorry. I have no idea what that means.

Bobby, what's strange is the difference in skill sets necessary to do well in these two areas. One requires a very good control of emotions and such, while the other requires hard logic. I hate to use this since it's completely overused, but it's left brained vs. right brained sort of difference.
