Chess and video games

If and when you play VIDEO GAMES SUCH AS on your PHONE do you notice any changes in your chess mind and inclination. I feel like it makes me a bit more impulsive and impatient as in i can't wait for my opponent to move and if they take more than 10 seconds it feels like cheating.

At the same time, my mind is also more refreshed and I am able to see the position from many more angles.

My question to you is .. are there many people out here who play android games and also chess or is it exclusively android or exclusively chess.

I think I read a while ago that playing video games actually increases your IQ. Don't know if that is true but it is definitely an intellectual exercise.
