chess apk android new version

I am facing problem in new version of chess apk (android).
Actually, I can't play at all. Whenever I start a game, the screen becomes hazzy and the the board and home display come back and forth. And the game automatically ends with a decrease in my rating. I am writing this post using old version (which is a bit slow). Can anybody help me??? Thanks
