chess app- V2 or V3?

I'm on the iPad app, it is at its most updated stage, I'm on an iPad two. It the iPad app version two or three? I'd imagine version three, but few people like V3, and I think the app is excellent.., so would the ipad 2 app be V2 or V3. Does anyone know?
Can you change between the two on the app?

If you are on the Chess - Play & Learn app, that is the v3 version. If you still have the Classic app, I believe that is the v2 version; I don't think that one is available for regular download, though I'm sure you can find the package somewhere to install. If you have that and it currently works, there is a very good chance it will break when v2 is retired.
And @mcris, the default site is v3 on the website. You have to manually access v2 (until it goes away).
My Classic App (version 2.1.12) says today that is out of date :/

Yeah, I saw that in another topic. Looks like they are stopping support of the Classic app earlier, since they can't really put up a message like they have on the v2 website.

I used Classic version because it worked much faster than the Play&Learn app on my smartphone. Well, I installed yesterday an old version (3.1.21, the newest my smartphone can host) of Play&Learn app and it has no support anymore. So it looks like I have to play on PC or buy a new smartphone :/
