Chess as a hobby

I started a chess to improve my intelligence.. and soon I became interested in it.

But, as I play more and more, I noticed that I have to spend lots of time studying to enjoy chess.

It would definitely ruin my life, but I cannot stop!

Help me!

Chess doesn't necessarily have to ruin your life even if you study alot. Plenty of people study tons and their lives are normal.Just....don't study TOO much, chess could also be considered a sport.

That is the tricky part of chess. It is so alluring as a pastime, but improving is so alluring also. Try taking small breaks, like 2 or 3 days with no chess, then study as much as you want for a while. Then take a break again.

There isn't enough time for taking a break...
