chess blitz rating
911 is not particularly good (I'm about there, to) and is mediocre beginner. After about 12-1400 you become intermediate level or so, and then level 2000+ is pretty good. 2100+ leaves you with a title of some sort.
Please note, however, that you can't really use chess.con ratings for this- you need to play OTB tournaments and get your real score through FDE- things.
around 1070, you can check it here: https://www.chess.com/leaderboard/live
If your rating is only 911 after 2042 blitz games. That's not a very competative rating. NOW, if your rating was 2042 and only played 911 games, then that's pretty good!
Play whatever you enjoy...ratings doesnt matter.Afterall its only a pastime game for the majority. Leave it to the masters to got nuts on it.
I keep telling myself that ratings don't matter, but when my rating drops by a 100 points, it does matter! To me, at least.
It shouldn't matter, but it does to me.
From the left side of the chess.com page, under "Home", click "Stats".
Open up your Blitz stats on the right side of the page. On the top right, there should be a percentile based on your rating. That'll give you an idea of how you compare to other players on Chess.com.
If you're not familiar with percentiles, basically, it tells you how many people are below you. A 25% percentile means your Blitz rating is higher than 25% of the people who play blitz on Ches.com. A 50% percentile means you're better than half of the blitz players, and so on. The median rating on Chess.com is around 1000, I believe.
I don't play chess here, and your point is....? If I did I'd be a hell of a lot higher rated than you. If this sites developers ever make an android app that doesn't suck ass, I might start playing here again.

Says the guy who hasn't played a game on chess.com. Hey Eat My Shorts , your rating is 1200 but everyone has a 1200 rating when they sign in. You haven't played a game yet. Douche
Hi @Giants0711 I can see that you have put a lot of time in your games and you are seeking to improve. I suggest using both the lessons and tactics feature to improve by learning key chess concepts and recognising patterns. At your level, I would say the defining element to winning your games is being able to stop and prevent tactics, so you will need to be able to prevent and set up your own tactics. Recognise forks, pins, skewers, discovered attacks etc. Once you have reached 1200-1400 then you should also adopt some openings you're comfortable with, learn some basic endgame concepts and learn to play positional chess.
For now, start doing the lessons and tactics (keep doing this) on this site, put what you have learnt into practice and you will be sure to improve. Myself, and even the top players in the world are all still learning, we all are. The key to improving is learn and practice, practice and practice. Don't play chess based on mere instincts, but on strategies you have gathered throughout your learning and your games.
I wish you the best of luck
