I'm looking for a good chess book that covers intermediate and advanced topics. I want to improve my game and learn new strategies. If you have a recommendation for a book that fits the bill, please let me know.

I agree - start with endgame. 1st K&P, then K & minor piece, then K&R, finally K&Q.

Silman's Complete Endgame Course is excellent and should still be avilable used on Amazon.

Begin with the Endgame. If only everyone knew this . . .
Start with something simple like king opposition

Simple Chess: A great explanation of strategy, making it very easy to understand. You have it on YT as well: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLUrgfsyInqNbkyiwPSSBQ6ALkkccKItPE
