id like to do that, but i dont have the time.
chess clubs
We're about to a start a Chess Clubat my office. To call it a "club" might be too much but a weekly gathering for people who like some brain work-out. The amount of work is minimal! A few posters to be posted and to bring my chess board to the office. Well worth the extra calories wasted!
Tyler it's not that difficult, outside of finding a few others who play the game in your area. You may be surprised that there are more than you think if you do a little digging around. Once you find at least one person simply setup up a regular meeting time to play at a local cafe of some type. The constant flow of customers walking in and out of the cafe will produce even more players over time. All you need do to make it grow is take notice of anyone watching your game, and then ask them if they play. More often then not they say yes, and you can ask for their email address. Then you include them in your weekly meetings, and in time this can grow into a chess club.
use meetup.com to start/find others.
