Staff is aware. I think it has to do with the CDN the site uses and is only impacting a subset of members.

I turned off my VPN and everything came back to normal.

That’s probably because of the CDN that Martin mentioned, something to do with the VPN proxies and stuff

I occasionally use VPNs, but even when using them I can see just fine.

I've seen more people on the forums saying the same thing

VPNs or proxies could cause issues if your end up being served cached images from the CDN server(s) that has/have issues. From what I've seeing it impacting some Canadian members and some from Portugal.
