Chess.com bots are way off there ELO.You could be 400 ELO and defeat a 1000 ELO bot.Chess.com needs to fix this.

It's really hard to make engines, that are designed to play the best moves, to play like a specific rating.

While there are various settings made to mimic it, it's not always going to be accurate. The higher the ratings go the closer it gets. That said, the device also plays a part in how well amy given bot plays.

I agree on both of these comments (if at all possible). I’m legit rated like 600 and I’ve beaten every bot (three stars) up through “Nora”. Yes, I have been told that I am underrated. However, sometimes I see big mistakes made by the higher rated bots (I beat one of them by forking their king and queen with my knight) that you would NOT see by someone actually rated as high as the bot. Plus, I’m stuck at 600 ELO, so I guess all this training against bots hasn’t worked out for me. Humans are just plain harder, mostly due to the fact that all “BOTS” are going easy on you, because they are really all rated 3000+.

Yes, but we always play differently. I am 1400-1500. Sometimes i play like a 2000+ rated player, then in the next game i play like a 1000 rated player. Bots play on a stable rating, so this is how i can beat a 2300 rated bot, and this is how i lose sometimes to an 1600 rated bot.

That is true. I have beaten a 1700 bot as a 900 maybe 1000

yeah is true!

It's true, I'm 600 and I've beaten Nora(once), and every time I fight Isabel, she falls for the exact same king and rook fork over and over again it's actually kinda sad, like is the 1600 her rating or her rank at school? Maybe it's her losses per second.

But I don't think the bots are overrated, I think the chess.com rating system is just absolutely TERRIBLE. Most of the games I play get rated 1000-1800 with 75-90% accuracy(except when it's midnight), and Isabel always gets rated 600-900 on the reviews. I've beaten a 1600 rated player before (although i sadly challenged him unrated) so FIX THIS chess.com. Please, SPARE MY SANITY.
