There is an even easier solution for this in my opinion. Instead of complaining about the site/players he could just easily beat them if those 1.h3 players were really that bad. His rating would go up and he soon will be paired with better players. But of course complaining is a lot less effort than punishing 1.h3 players because you feel "too good" for playing them ;)

Just how far is that supposed to carry a player?  1600?

I know, everyone else wants to have fun with the game.  My idea of "fun" is to be the first FIDE rated player over 3000.

Chess.com is great, but unless you have the diamond plan, it doesnt rly help a lot...because you are limited to what you can train with
