chess.com is falling apart
And yet, the OP is still here playing.
Rematching is a respectable thing, but some people make too big a deal about it. Live tournaments are cool. There's nothing wrong with them. And finally I don't get challenge failures.
Don't agree? Let's ask my magic 8 ball! Hey, Is chess.com falling apart? (shake)

Chess.com does not have to allow other people to try and drive traffic to other sites on their own platform. While I can't speak to any other site, I doubt many of them really allow what essentially becomes advertising for competitor sites. TOS here don't really allow positive or negative comparisons to competitor sites, in the forums.
The site also doesn't allow public accusations of cheating either. It isn't something that can be easily stopped, in advance, and people that make accusations can be reported.
chess.com refuses discussions on other sites because they are insecure on their own site. this is literally the only forum that does stuff like that.
but its ok to accuse other people of cheating nonstop. I was accused of cheating so often that I just stopped playing here.
Strange, your last game was 9 days ago. You quit 9 days ago, still are really active, and all you do is complain on forums? No offense.
If you report accusations made against you and you leave them on your profile, at least until staff has a chance to look, they likely reach out to the person to let them know that is unacceptable. I have done that myself when I run across them on profiles. If they continue, they may end up being unable to post for a time.
Banning is less common, except in more extreme circumstances.

chess.com does not allow discussion of other sites period. I'm not sure if you just don't play on other sites at all but this is literally the only forums I've seen with such a rule.
i haven't even played for a year and I have some random kid who accused me of cheating on my profile who has not even played against me. don't tell me that public accusations are taken seriously at all because I have also reported these accusers and nothing was done to them. In fact one of these losers accused me of cheating in over 10 threads and he has not been banned yet.
You played in February of this year, and December of last year.
just trying out the other site mentioned and it seems fun, playing a bit to see how the ratings will compare. I might like it more though due to being able to premove without a membership. Problem here is that I don't have a membership so blitz games can be annoying when the other payer can premove in a tight endgame with pawns. Doesn't happen often but when it does it sucks. I have considered a membership but I'm a bit poor ![]()

live tournaments, rematches, challenge failures (and most simple interface actions) are just a few things why [another site -- VP] has taken all of their members
