I play a game, finish it and my opponent offers a rematch. I decline then click new game but then chess.com matchmaking pairs me with the same person. Is there a way to avoid this?

If you want to play a titled player, just go onto Twitch. There are lots on there that on some days accept challenges--usually bullet of blitz.

@ricorat - I think tomorrow at this time Slowdumbb (WGM Alexandra Obolentseva) will be taking challenges. She's about 2500-2600 in bullet and is really funny. She will stomp you soundly if that's your desire.

im pretty sure in uscf you have to have 3 tournaments in your category to get that title or something like that

I got paired with @Black-Panther_2020 on the same day with a few games in between. Is this just chance? This seems extremely unlikely, so I am wondering if there is something else going on.

maybe its not enough players in your rating category?
