Chess.com or Lichess?

Play daily on chess.com and rapid on lichess.

I like lichess because they have a lobby and it's easy to get games with higher rated players.

Also on lichess it's easy to play unrated. Less cheating when you play unrated.

Chess.com's puzzles are easier and I like that.

Also daily is better.

I think that chess.com is the best.There are SO many entertaining things here like intresting puzzles,lessons,etc

Lichess Explorer has all the games played on the site. I use it often when looking at odd ideas that show up as novelties using the normal databases (ChessBase, TWIC). The chances are usually good that Lichess has dozens of games with the new move.

Lichess forums, however, are a joke. That’s why this discussion is here.

Both have tournaments, plenty of members willing to play at all hours, useful quick game analysis, clubs, lessons, access to coaches, and many other features. I use both sites and support both financially. Most of my time is spent at chessdotcom, but I value Lichess and play there from time to time.

I think now slightly Lichess is better in standard chess but Chess.com is much better in variants.

I have beaten more than 200 titled players on Chessdotcom. I doubt I’ve faced even a dozen on Lichess.

I think Lichess is better at chess education. In other respects chess.com is superior.

That includes all time controls, including correspondence. Most of the wins are in blitz, where many titled players hover near 1800.
