I cannot understand the “rating” part of this feature. Can anyone explain? I tried 25 attempts got 12 “correct “ and 13 “wrong”. For the “correct “ efforts I was awarded 56 rating points but for the 13 “wrong” efforts I had 104 rating points deducted. What is the logic?

Another topic that has beaten to death.  As long as youre more concerned about the rating, youre improvement will suffer.

spending more time on a tactic will give you a lower score too

You need to solve the problems faster to get full points. The time given is based on how long other people with your rating took to solve it. You can also take more time to study the position if you feel it is beneficial but you won’t receive full points.
