In Lichess, you're more capable of doing random stuff. And in chess.com, maybe they do a little less. Is it just me or is it harder to win on Lichess than chess.com?
My thoughts are same. I win here in bullet but lose on lichess by the same elo.

It's much easier to spectate and keep spectating games on lichess.
It's also much easier to *coach* someone on lichess, since all you have to do is create a study and invite someone to it. I don't think that's even possible on chess.com.
It is possible on chess.com. you just hit the "classroom button" and invite the person to the board

Lichess is overrun by bots now. So is chesscom, but they have some rudimentary checks in place that curb the problem. Lichess can't afford that.
Lichess awarded me points on three occasions in the past five days for my opponents violations of Lichess rules. So they have something in place. I agree that there is a lot of cheating taking place. I lost a game a few weeks ago on chess.com and I thought I played well. And I was right. In a game which had over 50 moves my accuracy was over 88%. My opponent however was 99%. He had zero mistakes and inaccuracies. So I brought it to the attention of chess, com and they awarded me 9 points.
I suspect that some players use computer aids for parts of their games which probably makes cheating detection difficult.

I wasn't sure of the extent of it until I began to see them around. They're all over GitHub. There's Chrome extensions, too. Not to mention the old fashioned way.
Both are good. I prefer the chess.com interface but lichess has unlimited free puzzles, one of the main reasons for which I'm signed up.
You can change that
I found a way to pay cheaper for diamond membership in chess.com. I think chess.com is the best one of all.
Both are good, depends what you are looking for. As a retiree for whom every dollar counts, I prefer lichess, but both sites have plenty to offer. Ratings on lichess are absurdly high, and most of the people I know are on chess.com. Chess.com social structure accommodates teams more readily. But I do like unlimited tactics, opening explorer, game analysis etc. on lichess.
If you don't mind spending some money why not use both? Nothing says you have to use one or the other exclusively.
As an aside, this reminds me of the old debates about ICC vs FICS and similar arguments were made.
