Huh, that's strange
Chess.com won't let me be top blogger

Have you actually looked at the top blogs including bloggers of the month? Some of your stuff is not bad but I can see a few issues with it.

Like what?

I mean the blog I saw had numerous spelling and grammar errors and proofreading errors : ‘a lot’ spelt as one word, parapsychologist spelt wrong, and sentences like:
“Fischer forfeited his title because his absurd demands weren't demand so Karpov became champion”
I could have picked out many more....it felt like it was written very much in a rush, plus many of your entries broke the rule about having large walls of text.
But like I say, some of it was quite good in parts.
One of the requirements I think is that you have to actually PASS the SAT's to BE a blogger.......meaning they've never had a top blogger who hadn't taken the SAT's.
or maybe just because I'm a kid
That too.....try ChessKid.com BTW....how many followers do you actually HAVE on your blog?
actually have?
Well if you wanna be top blogger you have to have people follow you.
I have 173

I don't see anything wrong with your blog. I think it has potential. What it doesn't have is longevity - it's only two weeks old. I don't know why you didn't get the status you're seeking - maybe it's as simple as no one has had time to review applicants but were I the one to approve such things, I would never do so on a two week old blog. Top Blogging is becoming Top Heavy as it is.
On the positive side, you just ran a brilliant advertising campaign with this thread. Getting readership is the goal - getting Top Blogging status is just another means to that goal.
I've met all the requirements and filled out the application, but chess.com ignored me. I post at least everyday and I write the Road to GM series and some history. My articles are of high quality.
