Just wanted to bring that to light so you can grasp the idea that chess doesn’t attract people of a higher sophistication or mental dominance…..you can cram all that gentleman handshake moments and respectable honorable sportsmanship up your a**. it seems it draws a bunch of reclusive losers together and uses chess as a way to make themselves seem intelligent because they have nothing else going on….to the degree they have to sandbag with multiple accounts….cheat with software etc etc….its a board game bro….a board game.
So apparently there’s around 10k accounts closed per month from cheat accounts….theres probably more from other reasons like racism, etc etc…coming to find out that there’s accounts asking for money from other players for cancer treatment…it goes on and on…
I just wanted to say I’m damn proud of the chess community and its culture….
