Chess computer glitches?

Hello everybody,
When I played the EASY computer, it didn't have any bishops, or knights. Instead they were queens! I couldn't actually have won that game so I resigned. After a week or two later on, I played the EASY computer again, this time, I had no pawns except for a queen pawn. Has anyone else seen these problems? Is there anyway to fix it?
