Anybody owning this?

Got this chess computer before 2000 ( speaking about years, obviously, not rating, will be this rating in another life), when i was 15-16 or something.  At this time i was crushed everytime. I plugged it again. First impression, woaw, how could I let this taking the dust during all these years, this is a great tool to learn and have fun outside chess.com.

But the real question is, do anybody know what rating is the standard level 1second? Have been playing several times this week, and I am approaching balanced endgames, I am confident to defeat it in a near future, it s my very own personal challenge these days.

So anybody got details on this beautifull chess computer ? ( could download quick start manual on the internet, but I would be glad to get any more details concerning it)

I don't own it, but I can give you a few links.

The manual - http://www.zanchetta.net/default.aspx?Categorie=ECHIQUIERS&Page=documentations

(Choose Saitek as the manufacturer. The Centurian manual is available in both French and English.)

The Overtom site: https://tluif.home.xs4all.nl/chescom/EngKasCent.html

Strength estimates: https://schach-computer.info/wiki/index.php/Wiki-Elo-Liste_En

(I don't think there's any easy way to find out the strength of the "standard level 1 second". Also, note that the Elo list shows the Centurian with three different processor speeds.)

You can get a rating estimation by putting the pgn games into here https://www.chess.com/analysis?tab=analysis. It takes about maybe 10 games to get an accurate estimation, the rating being the average of the 10 games. From my experience though Saitek Centurion plays at about the 2200 level. It's weaker at the 1 second per move by about 50-100 pts though. According to SpaciousMind Saitek Ceturion's strength is 2200 USCF, the same as my estimation.

Remember to hit "Add game" and then "review" after pasting pgn into https://www.chess.com/analysis?tab=analysis
