I learn how to win king and pawn vs king 3 days ago

I resigned a game thinking that I was down seven points but I was actually the one that was up seven points. Really mortifying later when I realized.
ForsookTheRook

#25 You're the reason that player STILL doesn't resign despite being down 8 pawns, 1 queen, and 2 rooks.

piedraven

You need a blue tungsten ring with the text 'don't blunder your queen' as a reminder.

PedroG1464

i dropped a won game 💀, 10 points up or smth

One time, back in May, I played a tournament that was so embarrassing. At the time I was rated 872 USCF.

Dude had a win in like 2 or 3 moves depends if I struggle... then dud resigns?!?!

badger_song

I have been mated because I tried to use my king to pin enemy pieces.

PromisingPawns

Sometimes I see the tactic but still blunder

This one... Well, I thought I was in danger—even after I played the last move—and he probably thought the same. He resigned before I could successfully click the button. Yet after that, the engine shows that the situation was actually equilibrium...

Why did you play the Accelerated Panov, when you had no intention of playing a Panov -_-

but you're right... i should have tried 2.Nf3

No, the Panov is good, against 1... c6, I'd play just 2. d4 d5 3. exd5 cxd5 4. c4. You get a position similar to the queens gambit, but white has no e pawn, and black has no c pawn.

Crikey_Gambit

When I first started to play, I thought connecting the rooks meant that they had to be side-by-side during the game... much to the amusement of the school chess coach.

During my game there was a win, when i click the icon it opens a new tab with the entire game analysis, but does not show me directly the missed win. If i go trough all my moves i can see the missed win but i cant find a way to jump straight to it so i find my mistake. does it list missed wins above in the analysis if i have the premium version? or is there some easy way of me to directly see the missed win for free and without searching our moves.

oscarpamieta08

real

I accidentally played Nf6 instead of g6 when opponent tried to play scholars mate, somehow he didn't see it and moved his queen back

Waterstone33

I made my opponent sit there to give me a win forcefully (rather than a draw).

Cattycute

I missed this M1 puzzle because I didn't see the bishop guarding e7 and played Qe7

Playing OTB with my husband, one time my king was in check for quite a while before we noticed. We had just kept playing.
