Scid vs. PC... WinBoard... Arena... etc.
Not only can you make the two engines play against each other, you can automate the entire process. You can set it up so they play against each other for x amount of games, they can begin from a specific start position, you can set up specific time controls, etc.
With all interfaces mentioned above, all of the games will be saved to your hard drive, for review later.
This happens all the time. This is what us with chess engines and interfaces do, regularly.
