Its all about motivation. I have good connections to strong masters and they all say you can get to 2300/2400 when you are very motivated and work hard. Only for getting GM you need enough talent. So dont give up when you are motivated, just do it!

Of course , chess is sometimes boring when you play with a player less level than yours , but you can look at it from a philosophical perspective to reach ''GM'' . As long as you know what GM means , you are on the way to become a grand master . Finally , share your chase knowledge , teach it to whom they do not know , as a result , you feel the sublimation over your fears and overcome your weaks and doubts .
Hi all, I may have spoken about this topic before but I'll say it again to increase my chances of getting a good answer. When reading this, please don't answer just one question, answer all of them (all the topics I'm talking about. The first issue is chess enjoyment. I find that I'm only enjoying the game when my tactics are sharp otherwise it's pretty boring. You should also know that in the beginning of my chess career (8 years ago I may have enjoyed the game more. So is it about enjoying the game regardless of whether your tactics are sharp? How to enjoy chess (have fun with it. The next 2 issues are motivation and taking chess seriously. I think that in order to be at least a class A player you have to want it from the bottom of your heart. Also I feel that I may have a burden in becoming at least a strong player rather it should be genuine. See the thing is I don't want to be at least a strong player but I want to want it (deep down inside i want it, just not on the surface. One person has even told me that you have to accept that you're not going to be a master (I'm 1500-ish) b/c that's the way things are in life, the chances of me becoming a GM are like 1 in a million perhaps. So please!! help me with all these issues including motivation, don't just give me mediocre answers.
