Chess is Game for Gentle man and even Ladies played by savages and Brutes like myself. I was always thought before a game you shake hands and say good luck. During the game you don't talk to your opponent or play with your piece to much and always show respect to your opponent as much possible. After wards you shake hands again and say GG, regardless of the result of the game. Most recently I have been observing alot poor Chess Etiquette during a game my appointment has been extremely disrespectful by calling names and being harassing for no reason. Recently after an Epic Victory my opponent had the nerve and call me all kinds of name's. All of this has left me a bit confused and has me asking some questions, such as what did I do make this guy or girl so upset and why is he/she being so disrespectful towards me. In conclusion I would like to say that a good chess player regardless of rank always follows the unwritten rules of Chess Etiquette and you should practice them always. For those of you who wish to be rude and disrespectful I won't say any names, but you know who you are you should learn to behave like a Gentle man or Lady and not like a savage.
Shakespeare :
" Chess is like life, life is like chess, but only in the theater "
Society's manners are deteriorating like lightning. Witness the music, in which women have been transformed to bitches and ho's. Or watch an hour of prime time TV. The bad manners you lament are just another symptom of a dying morality.
