Chess King Training (subscription) is good. Also Chess King (lastest version) with the cheapest option is good. You can save a bunch of money not going for the best possible chess engine, the reason is that Chess King is designed for training. Use a real chess playing program like Fritz, or any other software designed to play chess. Chess King plays chess, but think in terms of it being a program used to help you play better chess.
Also get Chessbase with Mega Database, and Opening Encyclopedia.
I've never used Fritz Trainer or other training stuff from Chessbase, so I can't comment on those.
In an attempt to keep myself sane I have decided to embark on a chess-improvement journey. The basic plan will be to just play more games at slower time controls (15/10 or longer) and then take time to do some self-analysis followed by computer analysis.
What can you do to improve your chess? Any suggestions?
Be well everyone
