Chess in California??

I'm going to go to California, but I want to see if anyone can recommend me a strong chess club to join. If someone can support me with my stay I will thank them by defeating them in 3 + 2 blitz matches.

Most clubs in Cali should have a wealth of strong players. Look at the USCF rating list for the state
