Chess in Copenhagen

Thank you, Pikelemi!
I have written to them and am waiting for an answer.
Have you visited them already? Or how did you come up with your suggestion?

I have been a member there many years ago when I was living in Copenhagen. I think it is still the biggest and most active chess club in Copenhagen.

Interesting! Their website certainly looks nice! I am looking forward to hearing from them Do you know on which days their club nights are?

If you asked the question on the Trip Advisor Copenhagen forum you'll get the most up-to-date information. Either they'll know the answer or will know where to find out.

Of course it may depend on which days of the week that you'll be there.

The club night is Monday from 19.00 and until last man.

Just in case someone is still interested: There is a shop called "Bedre til Skak" in Frederiksberg, where you can play casual chess on saturdays between 10 and 12 o'clock. I had to learn a bit of danish to find out that this place exists, but it was worth it. I have been playing there with a very friendly Dane
Hi there,
I will be visiting Copenhagen in January and I like to play a game or two when I visit cities. The last visits I made were to the Dublin Chess Club (a really nice venue directly under the roof of a Georgian townhouse in which the United Artitists reside) the Laurierboom (the best chess cafe I have ever been to) and Max-Euwe-Center (the only real chess museum I know) in Amsterdam. I would like to play some chess in Copenhagen, too. Is anyone from Copenhagen or does know a place there where one could play chess while visiting the city?
I am really looking forward to your answers!:-)
