Hi everyone! I’m just wondering if we have any Palestinian members playing chess on this site. I’m not sure if they’re able to/allowed have internet there at the moment. Just know our hearts go out to you and we are thinking of you during this very difficult time for you and your families.
Absolutely. Someday hopefully, we will be able to have peace all over the world. I mean, with my age, probably not during my lifetime unfortunately. 😕. Probably none of the 87 year olds will live to see the end of COVID-19, much less the end of warfare.
Today on CNN, I saw that some sites went down globally. I wonder if Chess.com was one of them.

I just hope the awful things happening to them and their country stops soon. It’s barbaric.
Technically, Palestine is a geographical region, not its own country, but yes. I too hope these things stop and we can all live in peace.
I didn’t know the UN recognized it. I guess that does make it a country.
I may not be palestinen but my blood is.
