Chess is an inverse of intelligence

Not even a discussion here. This is just fact. How is memorizing every single play ever made "intelligence?" That's just proving you have a great ability to memorize other people's hard work. So what? I mean it's great, but you also do that at work. The only difference? You don't get paid to do chess. Neither is fun and you're just doing the same openings day in and day out, not getting any better. You're stealing other people's tactics and claiming that you're the smart one, when you didn't come up with any of it. Basically the higher your ELO is in chess, the lower your intelligence is. I mean look at Levy. He has 100 screws loose each time he streams. Says he's done with Guess the ELO, and then does another 50 episodes. That's an IM banging his head around like a primate. He can say whatever he wants his chess intelligence, but it doesn't exist. You cannot prove it exists. You can only prove memorization. That's all Levy can prove. That's all that Magnus can prove. nobody can prove me wrong because there are no smart chess people. They just memorize and memorize and play 10,000 games until they've done everything and then what? You plateau. There's nothing. No prize, no reward. You get more from a weekly paycheck then what awaits you at the top. This is the worst thing created and is only seen as a torture device and if you enjoy it, please seek mental help immediately.

I do agree that since chess is a solved game, it doesn't require intelligence, but it does require memorization & awareness.

I also agree that many of the chess "celebrities" are annoying and immature, especially Levy.

Let's not exaggerate, in one sense or the opposite.

Playing chess does not make you smart, nor does it require special intelligence. But it's a smart, creative and extremely elegant game. "Noble" is in my opinion the exact term that encompasses and summarizes these characteristics.

Chess is an intelligent game; a chess player, weak or strong, amateur or champion, can be an intelligent person or a stupid person, 50%-50% probability. How intelligent he is has nothing to do with how he plays chess.

"You can only prove memorization."
++ Chess is not about memorization, it is about logic, about imagination.
Here is an example: move 30 Ba3.
