chess is it possible to get five queens
I doubt it ;-)
I read that the most ever in real GM tournement play was 7. I will look that up so I can reference a source and game.
I have matched that feat against the personality "Berry" in chessmaster. I took a stupid loss & wanted to get a fitting revenge, so I queened it up like crazy.
Anyway, 7 is realistic against a outmatched or drunken opponent. I just can't convince Hoser of Staunton to include 12 extra queens with my $1000 set of pieces. What a rippoff.
For me, there isn't a theorical maximum number of queens. However, even if we can create a lot of queens, I find it a bit disrespectful for your opponent, because you're playing with your advantage. In addition, the more queens you create, the more stalemates happen. So, is it really useful in another way than for the "artistic" performance ?
